About.com’s Walking Site If you’re looking for some great tips and ideas about walking in general, or specifically about walking events and such, this is the place to go. There are some great newsletters, links to everything you could possibly want or need, and wonderfully inspiring articles. If you’re just beginning to walk, I recommend signing up for their “Let’s Get Walking” e-mail course. From there you can advance to the “Walk of Life” 10 week walking and weight-loss e-mail course, and then if you’re feeling really motivated, move on to the Half-Marathon or full Marathon courses. You can see all their walking programs here |
