Catching up

Wow, it has been a while!

Life kind of came at me from a number of different directions, and for a time there, something had to go. Blogging was what went! 🙂

It’s been a great time. One of deepening my walk with God through some very interesting relationships, one of actually losing weight (Woohoo!), getting somewhat back to my walking, and moving forward with the speed of a bullet train in our business. Time now to stop and breathe!

Spiritually I have been soaking up the words of Joseph Prince, having read three of his books: Destined to Reign: The Secret to Effortless Success, Wholeness and Victorious Living*, Unmerited Favor*, Health And Wholeness Through The Holy Communion* These books have so encouraged and strengthened me! I’ve also been soaking up the podcasts of Bill Johnson. I feel like I’m standing under a waterfall on a hot day.

Tentatively we’ve started attending the Word of Life church . The verdict is still out, but there are some good things happening there that are good for us as a family.

Physically, I’m in the care of a great naturopath, Dr. Trevor Hoffman. He’s wonderful, and I’m starting to feel like there’s some hope regarding my total lack of energy. Very exciting. The last three nights I’ve had the best night’s sleep I can remember! Woohoo! On top of that I’ve been following the HCG diet with some extra coaching on the side from “Gutless in Seattle” (isn’t that a brilliant name?) and by golly, it’s working! 14 pounds down in less than a month. I was starting to panic there for a while because it didn’t matter what I ate (or didn’t eat) or what exercise I did (or didn’t do) the weight was piling on with a speed that was terrifying! Now I’m back to where I was before, and will probably lose close to another 10 pounds before I’m done with round one. I’ll do a second round in January and should probably actually achieve my target weight! Awesome!

Business is booming. I feel like there’s an extra blessing of favour on us right now. It feels a bit like the Midas Touch, and I’m so encouraged! It’s been a long journey, but I think we’ve got it now! We’ve figured out how this all works together. God has also truly favoured me with friends who rally around me and cheer me on; women who not only care how my business is doing, but ones who are always spreading the word and making contacts for me. These are women of influence and power in the business world. I also have other girlfriends who are also keen on what I’m doing, ask me about HotSpot all the time, and encourage me to succeed. I’ve never been in this position before. It’s awesome. I am truly blessed.

I hope to keep up a little with this blog so you can take the journey with me (if you’re interested, of course. If not, no hard feelings!) and it’s good for me to write it all down. Counting my blessings! Oh yeah!
