Treading Water…
Feb 17
You may have noticed that my posts are a little more sporadic than they have been in the past. I’m kind of up to my eyeballs in tasks, and working hard to settle things into a rhythm. This particular blog needs to take a bit of a back seat over the next little while, as do some of my fitness goals.
I mentioned a while back that I was starting an interesting prayer course. It requires that I get up every night at midnight, and spend a minimum of 1.5 hours in prayer – often close to 2.5. The amazing thing is, I find that for the first time in my life my prayers seem to be very effective, and work very quickly. I’m not sure if this is coincidence or truth, and I’m excited to dig deeper and find out.
However, our HotSpot Promotion business is also really starting to pick up, I still teach 2 days a week at Gymboree, and none of the usual stuff -homeschool, housework, family business, etc – has disappeared. All that’s happened is I’ve knocked a chunk of time off my already limited sleep schedule. I am walking around in a bit of a fog these days, desperate for a long stint of uninterrupted sleep!
Once I’ve gotten through this course, and seen what it’s going to require of me with regards to time commitment, I’ll know how to move forward – it might possibly require another go at the whole polyphasic sleep thing….we’ll have to see.
So, I’ll keep you posted on my experiments and the other things in my life somewhat more sporadically, but still faithfully. Hopefully some of what I’m learning here will be helpful to someone else along the way!
Oh, and I should have a fun report with some fascinating pics to show you in a week or so – watch for it!
Wishing you all a successful and contented day!
Darlene
