Checking in Week 7 (Sorry I'm Late!)

Well, the combination of messed up Internet and the shift to a laptop from my desktop have caused me to be late with this post. So sorry.

However, I’m quite excited about the results:

I’m also down one inch overall.

Ok, so these are not mind-blowing results, but let me tell you about my week!

My sister was in town from out-of-Province. She’s not been out this way for 5 years. We had two family parties – lasagna and Roast Beef dinner – and another guest on Saturday for lunch and supper.
My schedule was completely disrupted, and I had little control over the content of my meals.

HOWEVER, by controlling the content that I DID have control over, and by managing my portions according to the instructions in the diet plan, I STILL managed to lose weight. I am VERY encouraged.

This week is (thankfully)  pretty quiet – no guests, no parties, no coffees out.  Thank goodness.  The following week, however, will be a test for sure – we’re off to N. Ireland for 10 days to visit my in-laws.  That will be a true test of my will!

  1. Congratulations! I too am getting fitter with walking and yoga and have lost 24lbs so far in the last 13 months, slowly but surely wins the race 😉
