Checking in, Week 2

So, I’ve completed week 2 of my wellness plan. I feel great! Here are the results (which include having no fewer than THREE dinner parties in one week – totally unusual for me – and choosing to enjoy everything served while watching my portions):


So, while I didn’t lose any pounds, neither did I gain anything, and I also lost a whole inch when I did my measurements. I would rather have lost weight, but considering I was able to enjoy three lovely meals out without panic, I’m actually quite pleased.

Here are some of the things I’m noticing:

  • I’m really not hungry except at meal time, and rarely have cravings, which is totally unusual for me!
  • I find that it is impossible to eat as much as I ate before. Even a delicious buffet dinner had to mostly go untouched as I just couldn’t even sample a little of everything I liked. I can’t cope with that much food anymore
  • My consistent carb cravings have gone. I no longer crave toast, crackers, and the like

I’m feeling good, sleeping well, and losing weight. Can’t complain about that! In two more weeks (after I’ve completely and successfully tested, tweaked and tried the first month plan) I’ll release what I’ve done so far. Hopefully you’ll find it a simple, doable plan as well!

  2. Thanks for your encouragement, Zoe! Yeah, the ticker’s kinda cool, isn’t it? You can make up a ticker for many different things at Tickerfactory.com.
    You can also chose from hundreds of designs. Very cool.
